What is the registration cancellation policy?

ACPM must receive written notice of cancellation no later than March 17, 2024, at Requests for full cancellations will be refunded less a $100 administrative fee per registrant. Cancellations or no-shows after this date are not eligible for a refund. Special requests for a refund may be granted after the 30-day cut-off for personal emergencies. This policy covers registration and ticketed events. Cancellation requests should include attendee name and registration confirmation number.

Please allow up to four weeks for delivery of a refund. In most cases, fees will be refunded the same way they were paid to ACPM. No refunds will be processed on site.

ACPM is not responsible for monies registrants may have spent on penalty or non-refundable airline tickets or hotel deposits in the event the conference is cancelled or sold out. If a program is cancelled by ACPM, every effort will be made to notify registrants at least 30 days prior to the first day of the course and registration fees will be refunded.

How many CME are offered?

CME will be announced when the full agenda is released.

When is the last day to claim conference CME?

The last day to claim CME is July 18, 2024.

What size should my poster be?

Poster displays will be limited to one side of 4 feet wide by 4 feet high.

Is there a template I should use when designing my poster?

ACPM has created poster templates for use when designing your poster. Unless specified by institutional policy, we require use of the ACPM template. These are accessible in the speaker portal.

Can I ship my poster directly to the conference site?

You can ship your poster directly to the Omni Shoreham Hotel at 2500 Calvert Street NW, Washington, D.C., 20008, for an incoming handling fee of $20.00 per package. Packages should not arrive more than three days prior to the date required. Shipments arriving more than three days prior may be subject to an additional storage fee of $10.00 a day per item. All shipped items should be in the poster presenter’s name. Do not include the name of the conference on the shipping label. All poster presenters are responsible for shipping and storage costs.

What if I forget my poster?

An off-site FedEx Office Print & Ship Center is available at 1812 Adams Mill Rd NW, Washington, D.C., 20009.

When do I set up and tear-down my poster?

Once posters are selected and assigned, presenters will receive specific times and directions on setup and tear-down.

When is the poster judging session for the Scientific Excellence Award?

The poster judging session for the Scientific Excellence Award will occur Friday, April 19. Top poster finalists will be selected prior to the session and expected to present their research.

When will the winners of the Scientific Excellence Award be announced?

The winners of the Scientific Excellence Award will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on Sunday, April 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Regency Ballroom.

Local Travel

Is the conference location convenient to public transportation?

The hotel is located 1 block from the Woodley Park/Zoo Metro Station on the Red Line. Once you have exited the Metro via the escalators, go to the right and down the stairs. Go to the left and walk to Calvert Street (1 block). Cross the street and take a right. The hotel will be on your left-hand side.

Is parking available?

Valet parking including in/out privileges ($55 per car daily) is available on-site for the following rates:

  • 0 – 4 hours: $35
  • 4 – 24 hours: $55
  • Daily max: $55
